Plant cells and animal cells both have a cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm. But in a plant cells it has a cell wall and it has chloroplast that is unique to just plant cells. A plant cell use lights rays from the sun to create sugars that provide the plant with nutrients. With an animal cell it has Centrosome which divids the cells, and Centriolise. Animal cells cant use light like plant cells do instead it relies on individual cells to break down nutrients that is absorbed into the body.

Fluid Mosaic modle
In this project i didn't really understand how the cells worked. I didn't understand what the different proteins were and what they did but now i know. The different proteins in this cells are integral and peripheral proteins, integral proteins are hydrophobic and peripheral proteins are hydrophilic. After reading and doing our experiments in the class room i came to under stand how this worked, a little better than i did before. one lets negative ions pass and the other lets positive ions pass. phospholipids are like the shell of the cell they cover the entire cell and have little tentacles to grab on to each other with and they connect the cell. That is all i have for today.

bases and acids
Acid taste sour, are corrosive to metals, change litmus (a dye extracted from lichens) red, and become less acidic when mixed with bases.
Bases feel slippery, change litmus blue, and become less basic when mixed with acids.
To change an acid to a base you have to increase some of the ions to make it basic again.
How do ant acids work? Ant acids work by changing the acids in your body by changing the ph levels to make the acid a base. And what would make an acid an acid is that it has a higher level of hydrogen and the more basic it gets the more OH it has.

water properties article summary
This article is about how scientist have been studying properties of water by using sheets of carbon and using tunneling microscopes to see how water coats the surface at room temp. They have discovered that water molecules are hard to study cause they do not sit still for very long "in constant Flux." To make the molecules stay still they accidentally they came across a technique to hold them still at room temp. using a thin layer of carbon mesh "Graphene" only one atom thick water molecules are held still under the mesh. the structures under this became more notice able in higher humidities. They had discovered that on mica the molecules were actually two molecules thick. they look like little islands. They are trying to use what the have discovered to study all surfaces like adhesion and lubricants. this study was provide by the u.s department of energies offices of basic energy science.
